The Office of the Privacy Commissioner (OPC) have partnered with online training specialists LearningWorks to create their public eLearning education suite and Moodle Learning Management System (LMS).

The Privacy Commissioner's Office has a wide range of functions. Some of these include investigating complaints about breaches of privacy, running education programmes, and examining proposed legislation and how it may affect individual privacy.
The Goal:
To modernise the content, format and delivery of the education suite To improve private sector privacy practices To increase the reach and accessibility of education across New Zealand To improve the Privacy Commissioner’s impact from outreach activities
The Approach:
Initial RFI process where LearningWorks was chosen as our preferred provider and long-term partner Project methodology and process led by LearningWorks to capture our specialist knowledge and transform this into modern, engaging and learner-focused learning Collaboration between our Subject Matters Experts and LearningWorks Instructional Designers, Graphic Designers and Web Developers Storyboarding and prototyping of micro-bites of eLearning Key stakeholder feedback and sign-off
The Result:
Growing education suite of eLearning training modules More than 9,000 registered learners and growth of around 400 new users each month Health 101 approved as recognised professional development All eLearning modules delivered on time and on budget “I have been particularly impressed by the quality of people who have been involved in the process.
